To institute Dr C.M. Singh Gold Medal for the Best PhD student of IVRI Deemed University in a particular academic year on the basis of his/her academic performance, thesis research and extracurricular activities.

To organize debates/essay competition on Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry.

To honour a person for his/her contribution in developing indigenous pharmaceuticals/ medicines/ vaccines/ feed additives/ research clues for betterment of animal health and production.

To work in close collaboration with other sister professional biomedical organizations/ institutions/ fellow societies of higher learning for promotion and widening the scope of veterinary science for serving the society at larger in effective manner.
